Science with Friends™

This weekly program provides each child with the opportunity to explore science and sensory activities that stimulate curiosity and inquiry based learning.

The flow, materials, activities, and program environment are specifically curated and designed to support a wide range of social, communicative, and emotional needs.

All our activities embed the fundamentals of socialskilled, which are: learning and working with others, making friends, and keeping friends.

Social goals are responsive to the needs of the participants and may include: Appreciating different skills or ideas; Helping others; Sharing materials; Trying something new; Joining a group; Accepting mistakes from themselves and others.

*Participants should not demonstrate unsafe, at-risk, or aggressive behaviours. Participants require a readiness to manage in a group with a 1:3 or 1:4 support ratio.
