This weekly dance class focuses on individual strengths and allows each participant to explore dance in a way that feels comfortable, fun, and empowering. Through a combination of structured activities and open-ended exploration, participants will use their bodies, their imagination, and music, to discover movement that is uniquely their own.
The flow, materials, activities, and program environment are specifically curated and designed to support a wide range of social, communicative, and emotional needs.
All our activities embed the fundamentals of socialskilled, which are: learning and working with others, making friends, and keeping friends.
Social goals are responsive to the needs of the participants and may include: Respecting personal space and feelings; Contributing to a group; Taking turns; Accepting differences; Joining activities/Trying something new.

*Participants should not demonstrate unsafe, at-risk, or aggressive behaviours.
*Participants require a readiness to manage in a group with a 1:3 or 1:4 support ratio.
