A Recreation program

Familiar Favourite – Weekend Edition

This weekly program provides each child with the opportunity to explore arts and crafts activities that are designed to offer sensory stimulation. Considerations have been made to limit the requirement of fine motor mastery.

The flow, materials, activities, and program environment are specifically curated and designed to support a wide range of social, communicative, and emotional needs.

All our activities embed the fundamentals of socialskilled, which are: learning and working with others, making friends, and keeping friends.

Social goals are responsive to the needs of the participants and may include: Sharing materials; Contributing to a group; Taking turns; Accepting differences; Joining activities/Trying something new; Moving on from mistakes.
