Our half-day programs are filled with fun and opportunities to make new friends. Our groups stay small so that every camper receives individual attention and a chance to shine.
Our expert staff are here to help them fully participate and enjoy exciting activities, including Art, Science, Sports, and Games. Not only will your child have a great time, but they’ll also boost their social skills and create memories that will last a lifetime!
The flow, materials, activities, and program environment are specifically curated and designed to support a wide range of social, communicative, and emotional needs.
Our programming continues to be responsive to the interests of the participants and therefore themes are not determined in advance. Everything we do embeds our fundamentals of learning and working with others, making friends, and keeping friends.
Our educational and therapeutic camps will provide opportunities for 1:1 and small group support in Speech & Language or Direct Instruction tutoring to ensure skills continue to develop over the summer months.
SAFETY AT SOCIALSKILLED:
Participants should be able to manage well in a one staff to 4 participants ratio and should not have significant emotional or behavioural challenges that require a Safety Plan or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) support at school.
Activities will include visits to the park across the street and participants must be able to manage that transition and open space without one-to-one support.
Unsafe behaviours include, but are not limited to: hitting/kicking, biting, leaving the group (elopement), self-injurious behaviours or threatening behaviours.

*If you or your child has funding through the Ontario Autism Program (OAP), our services may be covered.
