Funding & Insurance

Access support, simplify funding, and focus on what matters most.

Ontario Autism Program (OAP) Funding

The Ontario Autism Program (OAP) provides funding for Core Clinical Services.

What you need to know:

  • All socialskilled programs are OAP-eligible under Core Clinical Services.

  • A clinical supervision fee can be added to group programs to involve a registered social worker, making them eligible for OAP funding submission.

  • Invoices for supervised group programs are provided at the end of the program once services have been delivered (OAP requirement).

  • Programs delivered directly by a clinician do not require a supervision fee.

  • Clinician-delivered services receive submittable invoices immediately, allowing families to submit to the OAP right away.

Special Services At Home (SSAH) Funding

Families can use SSAH funding toward any socialskilled program, as all of our services qualify as eligible respite supports. Simply register, keep your receipts, and submit them to SSAH for reimbursement.

What you need to know:

  • All socialskilled programs are eligible under SSAH.

  • Register and pay as usual through our website.

  • Submit your receipts to SSAH for reimbursement.

  • Funding can be applied as part of your child’s respite support plan.

SMILE Accessibilty Fund

Families receiving support through the SMILE program can use their funding toward any socialskilled program. All of our services qualify as eligible recreational and skill-building activities that promote inclusion and connection.

What you need to know:

  • All socialskilled programs are eligible under SMILE funding.

  • Register and pay as usual through our website.

  • Submit your receipts directly to SMILE for reimbursement.

  • Funding can be applied toward inclusive recreation, education, or social skill development.

Private Insurance Coverage

Some socialskilled services may be eligible for coverage through extended health or private insurance plans. Direct sessions with a clinician (Social Work or OT) and group programs facilitated by a clinician (some of our Social Clubs) may qualify, depending on your provider’s policies. Families are encouraged to confirm coverage directly with their insurance company.

What you need to know:

  • Direct clinical services may be eligible for reimbursement.

  • Group programs led by a clinician (e.g., Social Clubs) may qualify if your plan covers group therapy.

  • Families should verify coverage details with their insurance provider.

  • Receipts with the clinician’s credentials for submission will be provided at the end of a session.
